Terms of Service
The service
Drafta is a native macOS Markdown editor with a cloud sync service. The app requires a Drafta account; creating, editing and exporting notes require an active trial or a paid billing period.
Trial
A new account starts a 30-day trial as soon as you confirm your email address. No payment card is required to start or to continue the trial.
Subscription and billing
Drafta costs 990 ₽ per month or 9,500 ₽ per year for customers in Russia; paying yearly saves about 20 %, roughly 792 ₽ a month. Customers in other countries and regions are billed in US dollars: $9.99 per month or $95.88 per year (about $7.99 a month). The currency and amount are shown at checkout before you pay. MIR, Visa and Mastercard cards are accepted, and payments are processed by Robokassa. There are no automatic charges: each billing period is a separate order that you pay yourself, and the subscription does not renew on its own.
The subscription gives you access to the Drafta app and its cloud sync for the paid period. The full contract terms are in the public offer (Russian only).
Read-only mode
If the trial ends without a subscription, or a billing period ends without payment for the next one, the whole app switches to read-only mode: you can still open, search and read every note, while creating, editing and exporting wait until the account is paid again.
Self-hosting
Drafta can instead sync your notes to a CouchDB instance you run yourself. In that mode your notes are stored on your own server. Your account — email, plan and subscription status — is still held by the Drafta service, and an account is still required.
Account deletion
Deleting your account is irreversible. It deletes the account and its cloud copy of your notes. Notes already stored on your Mac are not touched and remain in place.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Russian Federation.
